Holiday Book-Recording Project Overview
Sending Some Love provides an opportunity for scholars to send a recording of themselves reading a holiday book aloud to a young child--maybe their own child, a younger sibling at home, or a child at a nearby daycare center.
WHAT IS THE HOLIDAY BOOK RECORDING PROJECT?
The Holiday Book Recording Project provides an opportunity for scholars to send a recording of themselves reading a book aloud to a young child.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE CENTER?
Provide guidance in the form of a how-to guide.
Purchase up to 2 bundles of 10 books for the first 50 sites to register, below.
Provide technical assistance tailored to the resources at individual schools.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS?
Support scholars in choosing a children's book to read and record as a gift for a young child (and purchase those books if not provided by CEEAS, per above).
Record the scholar reading the book of choice aloud and provide CD's to burn the recordings on.
Mail the CD of the recording and the book to whom the book is dedicated.
